Ministry of Tourism of Montenegro nominated for Destination Stewardship Award

World Council of Tourism and Travel 2003rd The prestigious award was established for the application development of sustainable tourism – Tourism for Tomorow Award which is awarded in four categories: Destination Stewardship Award, Conservation Award, Community Benefit Award and Global Tourism Business Award.

For this year’s award in all categories of the proposed 160 projects from 45 countries, and in each selected kategoiji are three nominations.

Ministry of Tourism of Montenegro has this year been nominated in the category of Destination Stewardship Award (destination management), released from the Ministry.

Among the nominees in this category are the Tourist Organization of Botswana and the Chinese area in which there is a mountain Huangshan, which was the inspiration for the film “Avatar,” director James Cameron.

Montenegro has nominated the project development of Montenegro as a tourist destination on the principles of ecology and sustainability.
